6. Enjoy a summer concert in the old castle of Agia Mavra, in the entrance of the island.

7. Wind Surfing in the famous (for surfers) beach of Vassiliki village or try the kite-surfing in Agios Ioannis beach, close to Lefkada's town.

8. Visit the famous and cosmopolitan touristic Nidri village in the eastern part of the island where Aristotle Onassis loved visiting along with his famous jet setters friends.


9. See:
- the Phonograph museum
(Admission: Free)
- the Folklore festival museum of the “Orpheus” Cultural Group,
- the Archaeological museum (including findings of the archaeologist Wilhelm Dörpfeld who developed the theory that Lefkada is Homer’s Ithaca) and
- the museum of Philharmonic society (founded in 1850)
all located near the old Lefkada town.

10. On 7th July you could attend at the traditional celebrations of the monastery named Agia Kiriaki in Nidri - Vlicho village, where various traditional festivities are taking place.

11. You could also attend to the traditional 'Lentil Festival' in the Eglouvi mountain village (taking place every year at 6th August) where the locals from Englouvi are dancing and offering free wine, sardines and bowls of lentil soup (a speciality of this Lefkada's village).

12. Watch the custom of a traditional Lefkadian wedding representation, in the mountain village of Karya, the 1st Sunday of every August.

13. Attend the unique and romantic 'Varkarola' in Lefkada (August) where small boats of Lefkadians are crossing the sea in Lefkada's town, singing traditional Lefkadian songs and playing tradiotional music instruments, usually under the moonlight.
