The beach at your feet:

Did you know that Achilleas Hotel n' Studios are in front of the beach?

How far is the beach from the studios?
- About 20 meters.
Is it a rocky or a sandy beach?
- It's a clean sandy beach with minimal seaweed inside the sea.
Is the sea getting often wavy?
- Rarely, only when the weather is bad and even then the waves are too small.
Is it a really deep beach two meters from the shore, like are the beaches on the western side of Lefkada?
- No. It's a shallow beach that is getting deeper as you swimm in. That's also make that beach ideal for kids (unlike the beaches on the western side of Lefkada that are getting too deep with big waves just two meters from the shore).

What's the view while I am on the beach?
- Right long in front of you, you face the famous Skorpios island (of Aristotle Onassis) and on the right the green island of Madouri (owned by the greek famous poet Aristotle Valaoritis).
On your left you can also see the small private island of Heloni (owned in a greek politician) and again on your right side you can rest your eye in the sandy beach that reachs until the famous village of Nidri.

Most friendly and helpful owners ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this kind old man ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the rooms was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with a small cafe-bar on the beach where we had the famous greek FRAPE cold coffee and light lunch every day after our swim on the sea right in front. We didn't have to move too much to many other locations of the island of Lefkada so those rental studios were quite a great choise for our short stay. I was very pleased and I hope to be back for a longer stay in the future.
